The Winters Brothers Band started in 1975. We played a few places in town and then got our first out of town gig was at the Carolina Cowboy in North Carolina. We drove our old pick up truck and pulled a trailer with our equipment.

Our first band consisted of Donnie and Dennis Winters, Jack Pruett Jr., and Bruce Campbell.

We changed band member several times. The next photo shows the band as it was when we were touring and signed with Sound Seventy, which was also Charlie Daniels' management company.  Pictured is Dennis, Donnie, David (Spig) Davis, Bob Tuccilo, and Gene Watson.

We toured a lot with the Charlie Daniels Band and the Marshall Tucker Band and started playing at the Volunteer Jam III and played every year for many years. The photos on this site are from Volunteer Jam X. Here I am singing, with my dad, Don Winters, Gene Watson on bass and Dewey Durough from CDB on sax.

Here we are with  Dickey Betts. Backstage I jammed with Jimmy Hall and Steve Miller. Then we also posed with Jimmie Fadden of Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Duane Allen of the Oak Ridge Boys.

I also jammed backstage with Gene Watson, Dickey Betts, Lakonya Smithee and Steve Miller.

These photos were  taken at Centennial Park in Nashville where we played with Charlie Daniels during a Veterans Day celebration.
